Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
In the Church, October is not just the month of falling leaves and harvest in Wisconsin. It is a theological month where three mysteries meet: Mary, Mission, and Eternity. The liturgy calls it the Month of the Holy Rosary, but theologically it is the month when the Church teaches us how to look at history.

Why does the Church dedicate October to the Rosary? It is not sentimental.
